PROPERTY

Not in any way typical of most holiday rental houses, this property has a feeling of immense comfort & beautiful decor. It is light and spacious & has the highest quality fixtures, in addition to independent air conditioning.

There is also 'THE SNUG' on the ground floor, more simply furnished & ideally suited for teenagers; 3 single bunk beds + 2 single twin beds and full lounge with TV for use with DVD.

Within several minutes walk, there is everything for your immediate needs : Small supermarket, bar (serving light meals), restaurants, doctors, chemist, dentist, hairdressers, bakery and small garage for petrol. Larger supermarkets for your weekly shop are just 7 kms away.

Fishing (during the season) & canoeing are also available on the doorstep.

St. Antonin Noble Val with many other sporting activities is just 20 mins. drive away.

MAIN FLOOR (upper level)

Accessed by a flight of stairs either at the front or the rear of the property.

TWO LOUNGES :The Main Lounge is an ideal place for parents/ adults to relax in peaceful surroundings. The separate TV Lounge has Sky 'free to view' channels & DVD player, with doors onto the external dining terrace.

Just great for teenagers .... Large lounge area with TV for use with DVD's / Games & Full stereo system .
3 single bunk beds with desk space under, together with 2 single twin beds. Interesting feature is the glass covered natural well.

Double doors directly out onto the garden (also the ground floor WC).


NB : Not advisable for children under 5 yrs, due to steep pitch of staircase from main floor.

South facing ~ with roman steps & automatic electric cover.

The water depth has been designed with children in mind : 1m extended shallow end, with a greater depth of 2m. thereafter. Solar pool shower & external WC nearby.

 

 

GARDENS

The gardens offer views across open fields onto the village below. Laid to lawn, an ideal place for children to play.

Although the property is set alongside a minor road, the grounds of 1 acre are entirely fenced & gated & are situated at the rear of the property (for privacy). There is a side terrace for playing boules.

Table tennis is set under shade, for those long hot summer days.

Sept/Oct 2011

The 'Indian summer' put the temps into the mid 30's, which has been fantastic. One can't help but relax in such an environment. The large dining table is the perfect place to gather, sample some of the great local wines & chat without a care in the world. Be sure to explore the local area ~ there is some spectacular scenery

Wow what a place. House fabulous and pool really enjoyable.
Spent many evenings on the terrace which was really relaxing.

Great place to come for a few days.
This is my second visit and still has that wonderful home feeling.
Weather really quite good but doesn't really matter as house so
